Ameib is a small family-run guesthouse.We offer accommodation in the guesthouse or at the camping site, or you can come for a day visit to explore the walking trails and attractions around the guesthouse.

We offer comfortable, clean rooms, without any unnecessary extravagance. The focus is put on the breath-taking surroundings which provide the setting of Ameib Guesthouse & Camping.

The Ameib Guesthouse is located at the spot at the foot of the Erongo Mountains, where in 1864 a missionary station of the ‘Rheinische Mission’ was founded. Ameib (’The Green Place’), with its bizarre rock formations and plentiful bushmen rock art is a beloved holiday destination and nature paradise.

Ameib is a perfect stop-over on your way to or from the coast, to relax for a while in nature and get away from the stress of the city. Ameib is open daily from 08:00-18:00.

Ameib Guesthouse&Camping has 6 rooms only, i.e. 3 family bungalows (2 x 3-bed + 1 x 4-bed) and 3 double rooms, each with en suite shower/wc. At Ameib Nature Camp, close to the guesthouse, there are 2 cabins (3 + 2-beds), each with en suite shower/wc
